SUMMARY
The group plan Bunny’s death and go through with it by pushing Bunny off a ravine when he is out hiking. Hysteria starts to grow between the group as they try and maintain their cover through joining the search parties. Yet a thick layer of snow has meant that Bunny’s body is not being found as quickly as they would have liked. The more time it takes, the more worried the group becomes. Finally, the body is found.
This is the episode that includes the most dramatic momen; Bunny’s death. In the novel, we don’t read the actual murder in detail. This is something I want to consider in this episode. The episode will emphasise the imminent build up and the panic the group have. We cut to the country house, the class room and all other spaces moments before the deed actually happens.
It is the turning point of the character’s mentalities and the series becomes a study of what happens both mentally and physically when you experience such a horrid and traumatic moment as this. Each character reacts in different ways.
